TCS Signs 7-Year Deal to Transform Ramboll's IT Infrastructure
In a significant development, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a substantial multimillion-dollar strategic partnership aimed at transforming the global IT infrastructure of Ramboll, a prominent architecture, engineering, and consultancy firm based in Denmark. Over the course of the next seven years, TCS will undertake the task of modernizing and streamlining Ramboll’s IT operating model, with the objective of fostering business growth and optimizing the company’s IT cost base.
Thomas Angelius, Senior Group Director and Chief Information Officer at Ramboll, expressed confidence in the partnership, emphasizing its potential to future-proof the business and maintain the delivery of excellent services expected by customers. TCS's responsibilities under the partnership extend to managing Ramboll’s cloud and data centers, application development and maintenance, cyber security, and digital workplace services.
With operations spanning 35 countries, Ramboll specializes in offering sustainable solutions to various enterprises. V Rajanna, President of Technology, Software, and Services at TCS, highlighted the strategic value of the partnership, emphasizing TCS's commitment to leveraging data, cloud, and analytics to facilitate intelligent business transformation and drive enterprise-wide growth for Ramboll.
Furthermore, TCS aims to contribute to cost reduction and the realization of economies of scale within Ramboll’s IT estate. Additionally, Ramboll stands to benefit from access to TCS’s rich contextual knowledge, innovations, and technologies, which will further strengthen its IT processes.
As part of this collaboration, TCS has committed to inducting more than 300 Ramboll IT employees across 12 countries. Having maintained a presence in Denmark for over three decades, TCS has been instrumental in driving growth and transformation for its clients in the region.
